DESCRIPTION:Meet-up with the film community at the Percolator MacArthur Campus to get together with other creatives from the Hampton Roads film industry. The event is free and open to the public\, specifically those with an interest in film and related industries (make-up artists\, fashion designers\, set design\, sound and music engineers\, etc.). The meet-up is hosted by Virginia Production Alliance – providing leadership & opportunity for the future of Virginia’s Film & TV community. \nAbout the Virginia Production Alliance\nFor more than 30 years\, the Virginia Production Alliance has provided an opportunity for Virginia’s film and television community. We sponsor professional development and networking events for filmmaking professionals and we are committed to providing assistance to those working to establish professional film-related careers and businesses. We are also the leading advocate for Virginia’s production community\, interacting with state lawmakers to help pass legislation to strengthen the filmmaking in our state. \nThe Virginia Production Alliance is a membership organization and is the state’s only professional association that supports and represents Virginia’s film and television industry. With districts currently active in Hampton Roads\, Richmond\, and Northern Virginia\, the VPA provides services and support throughout the state.
